Where is the Kedron Hills community located?

Kedron Hills is located in the Kedron Village area of Peachtree City, Georgia. Kedron Village is at the north end of Peachtree City and is the newest village developed under the city’s master plan. The entrance to Kedron Hills is at the intersection of Loring Lane and North Peachtree Parkway. The location can be mapped here.

What schools are zoned for the community?

As of August 2013, the Fayette County Public Schools designated for residents of Kedron Hills are Crabapple Lane Elementary School, J.C. Booth Middle School, and Mcintosh High School. There are also excellent private and charter school options in the area, as well as an active community of homeschoolers.

What are the prices of homes in the community?

Because the price of homes can fluctuate over time, the best resource for this information is your Realtor. You may also get good information from the many real estate web sites available.

What shopping is near Kedron Hills?

The Kedron Hills community is less than a mile from the Kedron Village Shopping Center. The shopping center features anchor stores such as Kroger, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Target, and offers a number of convenient quick service and full service restaurants, retail shops, and service businesses.

How far is Kedron Hills from Atlanta or Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)?

Are Kedron Hills homes on wells, sewer or septic systems?

What’s the deal with the golf carts?

Part of Peachtree City’s master plan included the construction of multi-purpose paths throughout the city, interconnecting communities and villages. Golf carts are often used on these paths by residents as a convenient, low-cost and energy-conscious means of transportation. The Kedron Hills community is served by several of these multi-use paths, and most residents own at least one golf cart. It’s a beautiful, relaxing way to move around town. Watch this video for more information, and also see Peachtree City’s web site.

Who do I contact about getting a Georgia Driver License and registering my car(s)?

Driver licenses are issued by the State’s Department of Driver Services.  When you go to DDS, make sure you have all the documentation they request on their web site. Vehicle registrations and “tags” (license plates and registration stickers) are handled by the Fayette County Tax Commissioner. A Georgia driver license is required, so handle that with DDS first. If you are registering a vehicle from out of state, you will first need to get a smog certificate, which can usually be handled at various stations for around $15.

I’m an attorney/realtor. How can I find out about Kedron Hills’ HOA dues/if a property is current on its dues?

Please contact the KHCA Treasurer.

What is Kedron Estates? Is it part of Kedron Hills?

Kedron Estates is a separate development at the end of Astoria Lane that is not part of the Kedron Hills Community Association. Homes on Astoria Lane numbered 1117 and below are part of Kedron Hills; homes numbered higher than 1117 are part of Kedron Estates.
